Hi, my name is Mike and welcome to matingweb.com.  Here I am pretty much the do-it-all guy - the site creator, designer, contact person, etc.  It's a hard job but someone has to do it!  I am a guy who knows all too well about the nuances, pressures, and expectations of dating, whether it be through online dating services or through the traditional meet someone at a job or bar scene.  I have gone through many ups and downs in the dating scene.  Whether it was being/acting awkward, being overly shy, or just plain scared to get out and meet people I have done it all.  Over the years though, I have experimented with how to behave and conduct myself when meeting or approaching potential dates.  I have also experimented with the online dating scene and the bar scene.  I remember when I was giving the online dating scene a try.  My friends were looking at me like I was crazy because I giving this scene a try.  It's not like I didn't want to go to the bars anymore, but I was looking to try something different in hopes my luck would change.  As a result of my years of having a profile on various dating sites, I can say that I was not disappointed.
